Dr. KNS Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences being responsible organization, committed to reduce carbon footprint by utilizing green energy and use of energy efficient appliances in its campus. MIMS has installed 200 KWP Solar roof top SPV Systems to harness sun energy and to reduce the environmental impacts associated with purchased electricity use. The 200 KW peak solar roof top plants will save approx. 6000 tons of C02 emission over its lifetime. LED lights are also part of our initiative and playing significant role in reducing overall electricity demand and conservation of natural resources.
