PARACLINICAL DEPARTMENTS

In Second Professional para clinical subjects are taught in three semesters i.e.,III,IV, & V. These include Pathology, Microbiology,Pharmacology,Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.

Pathology:

Department of Pathology is well equipped with laboratories for Histopathology, Pathology, Cytopathology, Haematology and Immunoassay in the hospital and is performing all the investigatios in the hospital.

Microbiology:

Department has Microbiology laboratory and is performing various bacteriological investigations, like cultures in body fluids, blood, pus and smears. Laboratories of Parasiotology, Mycology,Virology, Immunology, Serology – with ELISA testing for HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, TORCH etc.

Pharmacology:

The Department will provide teaching and training related to drugs and pharmacy. It will carry out pharmaco vigilance and record adverse drug reactions in hospital.

Forensic Medicine:

It is well equipped with learning tools related to toxicology. The department will carry out teaching and learning of forensic medicine.
